Novice & Intermediate Competitive Programs
These programs are designed for swimmers who want to participate in the full synchronized swimming experience. Novice competitive swimmers will learn basic technical elements and a full length routine. Intermediate competitive swimmers will also learn figures, team routine, and are eligible to swim small routines. The competition teams will participate in fun, local synchro meets. Emphasis will be placed on team work, friendship and confidence. Beginners and swimmers with synchro experience are welcome to participate on the competitive teams. Swimmers will learn figures and routines which they will swim before a panel of judges. The team will participate in local meets and clinics (minimal travel is required). Last year's meets were held in Norton, MA (Wheaton College), Worchester, MA (YWCA), Nashua, NH (Boys & Girls Club), Andover, MA (YMCA) and Cambridge, MA (War Memorial Recreational Center).
Novice swimmers will practice approximately 3.5 hours per week. Intermediate swimmers will practice approximately practice 4 to 4.5 hours per week. Currently practices are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. In addition, optional and mandatory strength and flexibility sessions will be planned each month.

Strength and Flexibility Training
Competition swimmers will work with our strength and flexibility coach on a weekly basis to develop core strength, muscle flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance that will help swimmers meet individual and team goals.
Training will be incorporated into each practice as well as monthly sessions. Swimmers will work with their coaches to develop home practices that meet team and individual goals.
